I listed to a lot of Distrubed at the gym. Never knew they existed until about six months ago.

Never really been into music a whole lot. I know weird... But what I am into is like instrumentals. I like beats. Love bass. My truck has a serious system in it. Something about feeling the vibrations from bass... Love it

I was never into Music either growing up. But once I got a smart phone and pandora that changed.

Hey same here :) Disturbed and Metallica are usually what I listen to when I run. Makes me feel like I'm kicking ass and taking names.

I do what probably most think is weird when running, I find songs to the ideal running tempo. So I shoot for a whole lotta Bruce Springsteen, which I feel is perfect. I could just run with Born to Run on loop.

Speaking of bands that you just discovered and should have known about for nearly 10+ years: Portishead. Where has Beth Gibbons been all of my life?

Disturbed has nothing on Anthrax, Pantera, Megadeth, Old Metallica, and the kind of all thrash metal, Slayer.

Portishead is pretty awesome.

My band that took me way too long to find out about will always be Rush, I listened to my stupid siblings who didn't like them, and then I picked up moving pictures and was left in awe.

Never heard anthrax but I don't like Pantera or Megadeth. I'll stick with distrubed for now.

Slipknot also gets me pumped at hte gym.

Never heard of ANthrax? For shame. Also how can you not like Pantera or Megadeth? Tornado of Souls is one of the most awesome songs ever. Only thing that sucks about Megadeth is that Dave Mustaine is absolutely worthless singing. And Pantera is outstanding if you're punting singing which you pretty much are with Disturbed. Dimebag is arguably a top 10 guitar player. And there's so few amazing songs to get you pumped as Cowboys from Hell.

I actually said this outloud and laughed. Props for that.

I love Springsteen and most anything classic rock. But just because I like Boston and Bad Company doesn't mean I can run to it. I just need more intense songs to get me amped up.

I don't run to Boston, they have too many dry spells in their songs, and their drummer is certainly no Max Weinberg. I have a list of great rockier songs to keep my tempo up, the Boss, Nirvana, and the Foos make up a healthy portion of it.

I run and workout to the Foos, Nirvana and most recently Queens of the Stone Age, but mostly the old stuff. Their new album is fantastic yet sad. Can't get all pumped up for that.

What ever happened to Casey Johnson? Usually he'd be first in line to queer up this thread with Bon Iver and Dashboard Confessional.
