Of a **** load of weeds in their yards. Not the good type of weed either. My back yard and even on my cement in the front of my house. I spend like a week every year pulling them. I bought several different types of weed killers qnd none of them work. Weed b gone works the best but they grow back. I try and keep my yard nice but these ****ing things are killing me. I cut down a tree last month, left tge stump, the next day its surrounded by weeds. Wtf.

I bought some Ortho **** in a black 1 gallon jug that was super powerful. Like with Round up I can spray random weeds in the yard and it'll pretty much just kill those weeds for the time being. This Ortho stuff will put softball sized dead spots in your lawn if you spray random weeds with it.

Are you fertilizing as well? You need to get the grass roots to take hold and push the weeds out so make sure you fertilize and seed the areas where the weeds are growing. That way hopefully the roots take hold and don't allow the weeds to pop up.

Good luck and stay black.

I fertilize and put lime down. But, the thing that helped the most was using weed and feed.

Buy a goat.

Seriously, I hire a company to spray all kinds of cancer-causing chemicals on my lawn. I'm old and have earned the right to pay someone else to do it.

I don't know about weeds on a lawn, but weeds in a vegetable garden aren't as bad as you think. You can control them with mulch or by planting clover or other ground cover plants before the weeds sprout.

I think clover and the seed of your grass scattered around a couple of times a year at the right time would eventually drown out most of the weeds.
