So far in the series, the Dodgers have used 22 different arms not including starting pitchers. The Braves have used a total of 14 arms, no including their starting pitchers.

I think the way I'd phrase it is that the media views the Dodgers as the protagonists of this series, and the Braves are just supporting characters in the drama. You can care a lot about a supporting character, but at the end of the day it's the protagonist's story, and it's pretty clear who the main character is here.

They can't really avoid a bullpen IMO, and you probably don't want it to be Game 7 with theoretical limited effectiveness from your starters in the other games.
