He’s been successful 75% of the time this season. That’s right around the break even point where it’s a positive.

It’s one thing to be a mediocre base stealer. It’s another thing to be clueless about when it makes sense to steal and when it makes sense to let the batter hit with a man on.

Ronald has shown beyond all doubt he has no idea when it makes sense to steal. He is nothing more than a stat chaser on the bases, and nobody seems like they are interested in correcting the issue.

Oh, it's completely understandable but I'm not sure that a split (5.5 game deficit) guarantees anything with six weeks to go and a bullpen that's leaking oil and three starters who aren't exactly sure things. I keep seeing folks talking about how to get rid of Ozuna and I have always believed the Braves would never attach a prospect to him to have him go away.. such a bad way to use resources.. But for a contending team that could really use the salary relief, I am starting to warm to the idea. Maybe toss 2 lottery ticket guys or 1 and some cash and see if a rebuilding team would take him.

It is a pretty cake schedule in Sept, but the Braves don't have a world beater schedule themselves in Sept... could get interesting.

I keep seeing folks talking about how to get rid of Ozuna and I have always believed the Braves would never attach a prospect to him to have him go away.. such a bad way to use resources.. But for a contending team that could really use the salary relief, I am starting to warm to the idea. Maybe toss 2 lottery ticket guys or 1 and some cash and see if a rebuilding team would take him.

Use Anderson and it’ll entice somebody to take him. We’d still have Fried, Morton, Wright, Stider, Soroka with Shuster, Elder, Muller, Ynoa as AAA backup. I don’t hate Anderson and think he is still useful I just think that money could be used to upgrade LF or the rotation.

Mets schedule is a cakewalk rest of the way - Division would be great but ultimately as long as the Braves are playing well come October nothing will stand in our way!

Feels like a good time to point out how AA made it a point to give guys extra rest early in the season (remember the 6 man rotation?) and throughout the year and very few if any other teams did that. I'm not saying there is definitely a correlation, but the Braves rotation has managed to stay very healthy all year. Mets have been the opposite.
