Everything dogs goes here. Where my dog lovers at? I know from that place awhile back that dalyn had a pooch as his avatar.

I have a 3 and a half year Australian Cattle dog mix with something. Not sure what he's mixed with. He's around 30 lbs and is my best friend. Great dog but not perfect.

Thanks man. I mean I have seen dogs glance over at the television before, but he literally will be glued for a couple minutes.

Thanks! He is seven now. I've had him since he was six weeks old.

So the fiancee' and I are thinking of adding another dog. She got the idea in my head a couple nights ago. There are two pretty nearby we both want to take a look at. If we do add another dog it needs to be a female and similar size to Sparty who is about 30 lbs. Only thing is in our apartment we have a dog and two cats. The office knows about 1 cat, but she decided to keep it a secret. So we are only paying for the dog. The stuff on file says we only have a dog as well. So technically we could add a dog and be within the pet deal which is 2 maximum.

Picked up a new addition yesterday afternoon!

Bella is 11 months and she is yet another Australian Cattle dog.

Will upload pics later.

Thanks man. Wasn't planning on getting a dog last Friday, but the fiancée wanted her and I wasn't going to argue. Clearly I wanted to take her back as well. Her and Sparty are best friends already. She isn't 100 percent house broken, but she is getting there.

Dalyn saw our dog on Facebook which is one of my pictures (hey I don't do Facebook, the wife does all that stuff). We got her a few months ago. A golden Lab with a pink nose. But for the life of me she barks at me, but then buries her head in my lap after barking. I was like WTF is your problem? BUt then I notice she barks only at the males she encounters. The wife and kids went to visit her parents and took her with them and she barked at all the guys but not at the gals.

Weird I will tell you, but the dog is smart as all heck. Very obedient except telling her to quit barking at me and then be my best friend.

My dog Sparty, male dog is sort of the same way. He will bark at damn near every guy he doesn't know.

I've got 3 golden labs in my life and they all bark excessively. They're needy animals and desire lots of attention.

WHAT.
I have no idea how any can think this. Cats are terrible. They don't even deserve to be talked about in a thread about DOGS. So I'm done.

No he's right. Cats>Dogs. I love Dogs, well certain dogs. But dogs are way too damned much work. They constantly want to be around you, they're large and almost always smell terrible. Unless you're using them for a service like hunting they don't present any real advantage over a cat.

Cats on the other hand are totally independent, give you the right amount of love and are much quieter.

Also it doesn't compare having the 2 when you go away. If you go away with a dog you basically have to leave it somewhere or have someone over at least twice a day to walk them, play with them, let them ****. Etc. My cat I have osmeone come over once and feed him and make sure he has water. When Sandy hit we went to my parents for 2 days. I gave him a bunch of food a bunch of water, and a clean litterbox and came back, he was still fine. Cats are the **** for people like me who're lazy.

I am not talking about that terrible animal when we're in a dog thread. cats are useless and are born assholes.
