Don't think the religious right is going to be happy about this. Cosmos kept pointing out how old the universe and earth is. Goes against Ken Ham and the Earth being a few thousand years old.

Parts of it were cool, parts were less cool. First episode is usually a setup. Second episode JMO will set the tone for the series. The bits about the imagination ship were kinda lame. One thing is for sure it's the best thing that Seth MacFarlane has been involved in in a long time.

Better to be a buzzkill than a jokekill.

I assumed this would be a thread wherein zito details how many cosmopolitans he's consumed while chatting up cougars in New Jersey bars.

I thought it was the name of the frozen yogurt parlor where zeets goes for the young guns.

Love this show. Although it's very similar to Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman, I love it anyways.

Huge tip of the cap to Neil DeGrasse Tyson. He makes learning so fun, and you just have to love his enthusiasm for teaching and telling.

Like Sagan, he's probably set the groundwork for plenty of youth becoming scientists and engineers. One of the biggest problems we have right now is some of the smartest kids in the country are going to Wall Street instead of the science field.
