Great article....thanks for posting.

I'm so excited about the future of Braves baseball. The smaller stadiums is the way to go. It would be great to have an actual home field advantage in a playoff game.

I didn't realize the terrain is a natural bowl for the stadium. I hope it has features like Chavez ravine outside the main grandstands--enter the gates at your level rather than having to navigate ramps once you're inside the stadium. It can really shrink the infrastructure needed inside the park and create that more intimate feeling.

Sounds nice. I hope they will keep as many trees as possible.

That's exactly my thought. I know that trees and limbs fall and can be a danger and difficult to replace if they are damaged, but man would I love to see banks and backgrounds of trees within this design.

Well, the firm is based in Kansas City, so I imagine we'll see design cues derived from a lot of former Braves stadiums.
