"Local officials and union representatives have demanded that UPS rehire the workers and that the city revoke the millions in New York government contracts currently awarded to the company."

One more sign that Unions have absolutely no idea how a business works.

They shutdown a business without even going through the right channels because they didn't like something. They don't own the business, they agreed to do their job and refused and the company and the customers suffered because of it. There was a strike clause in their contract.

If my employees shut down my business I'd have to do the same.

UPS is right. You can't have anarchy when conducting vital business to millions of customers.

If people had an issue with this, they would use Fed Ex or DHL.
