I know I'm stating the obvious, but this Rome team really, really sucks eggs. Bad even by Rome standards. Almost wish they would move Victor Reyes up so he can work with Salazar rather than Jon Jr.

If he's iffy at Rome, how iffy would he be in Lynchburg?

The group in Rome will be much better in the second half.

Hitting .279 at Rome, but it almost more of Salazar speaking his language and being such a well-regarded teacher.

Carolina League is an "old" league. I think it would be too much of a push.

Bobby Moore is Rome's hitting coach and reports I've read he is well regarded. There shouldn't be a language barrier with Nestor Perez, Jr., on the coaching staff. He's a Spanish speaker who ran the Braves' Canary Islands academy.
