Last night was a strong win for the guys to take the series, so a win today is just icing on the cake! I hope Teheran can continue his hot-streak against a pitcher in Cueto who has been just as good, if not better. There's not much I can say about last night that hasn't already been said! D. Hale was amazing, Freeman continues to hit, Justin continues to be amazing, Gattis continues to be the man and Kimbrel was lockdown.

Also, Bryce Harper just hit the 15-Day DL with a injured "vagina" thumb.

Lineup:
1. Heyward
2. BUpton
3. Freeman
4. JUpton
5. Johnson
6. Uggla
7. Simmons
8. Laird
9. Teheran (1.80)

Reds lineup:
1. B. Hamilton
2. Votto
3. Phillips
4. Bruce
5. Frazier
6. Ludwick
7. Pena
8. Cozart
9. Cueto (1.38)

And as always: LET'S GO BRAVOS!

I wish David Ross was still here, don't like Fredi Laird, brings nothing to the table except maybe take a few calories away from some of the other players on the roster at the post game buffet.

The Braves have two of the worst back-up catching options in MLB.

Braves1976
04-27-2014, 11:40 AM
I sure remember Rossy helping the Red Sox win a World Series last year (big hit included). I'll take him over Laird any day, Ross is one of the best pitch framers in the game. Laird is among the worst, though Doumit has been the worst a number of times. And with Doumit on the team Laird doesn't look so bad at catching.

It was being cheap, they didn't want to go two years for Rossy and didn't want to give him the money he got from Boston.

Laird makes baseball boring. He's fat, slow, can't hit, and will probably go 4-4 today.

A now, ironically, they are paying Ryan Doumit even more than Rossy is getting from the BoSox.

Reds are punchless. You know they have some guys who can hit. Maybe our pitching really is that good.

Reds won something like 6 of 7 coming in, so it's not like they were in some kind of slump.

Bad call hurt there, but Uggla is hurting us on offense and defense too. Cueto was all over the place that inning but a bad AB by Uggla and help from ump got him through it easier.

Heyward lets a 2-0 fastball right over the plate go. Unreal.

He's a bust dude. Don't care what anyone says. At least Franceour had an avg over .240 when people were calling for his head.

Doesnt have to swing on 3-1 if thats a ball.
