Now the Dodgers have coughed up a 7-2 lead against the Marlins, its tied 7-7 and bases loaded 1 out in the 9th. Fish will be 1 and a half games back.

Marlins are just over achieving though.

Said it before the firsy marlins game and will say it again, the marlins are a good team.

The bad thing is now you face the Giants best pitcher Bumgarner trying to avoid a sweep. This team is in a bigtime funk right now.

My fantasy week is riding on him so 5 innings 9 runs guaranteed.

They are not a division contender though. Some guys are playing way above their heads right now.

The only silver lining at the moment about our offense is that Heyward and BJ are actually doing fairly well recently. Just a shame that April and One Eye Freddie are struggling now. Can't blame the top of the order for not getting on base at the moment.

Since 4/20 for Heyward
333/370/431 - 126 WRC+

Since 4/10 for Upton
247/348/390 - 111 WRC+

Both aren't playing perfect even in these good stretches as you would like to see more power and walks from Heyward and more power from Upton. But they are playing better then they were in the first couple of weeks of the season and at any point last year for Upton. Hopefully they can keep it up. I'm more encouraged by BJ as he's striking out considerably less then last year and has a really good walk rate in this stretch of good games. He's stealing and running the bases well and playing a plus outfield. If keeps this up the rest of the year (fingers crossed) he should actually be worth the money he's getting paid.

Anyone else wonder if maybe Jason found a new pregame ritual on 4/20 :YDS:

No he's into crack. And I'm suggesting that the weed levels out the crack making him focus on the ball more. Would need to conduct some trials to test my theory.
