That's the plan Stan. I do think they will give the odd game to Uggla just to see if there is any life there. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the lineup against Vogelsong.

Yeah. I think he needs to show a bit more at AAA before being anointed. My guess is that Pastornicky and/or Pena are likely to get most of the PT at second the rest of this season.

Perhaps. But his OBP during his slump is .333. On the season it's over .370 and in his MiLB career it's .400. That's change I can live with.

Where would be without Santana? I must say he's been great so far, and I don't see Medlen doing what he has so far. If not for Santana we might be barely ahead of last place given our lack of offense so far. What he's done so far reminds me a lot of Javy Vazquez. And I know it's still early but I could see him having a similar season here.

Their offense is essentially average but where they are having issues is defense. It's the 4th worst in baseball. Defense and pitching wins, in the regular season anyways. The Braves still need (and I think it will be by seasons end) an average at best offense to make the playoffs.
