Thoughts?

Thought the 3rd episode last night was some really good TV, gave me lots of hope for the last 7 episodes.

Havent seen it. The plot doesn't interest me at all.

The Leftovers takes place in the wake of a global "Rapture", which caused the unexplainable disappearance of 2% of the world population. It centers not on the people who were taken, but on the ones left behind, in the fictitious small town of Mapleton, New York.[1]

Haven't gotten around to it, there's a lot of HBO stuff I haven't gotten even close to starting yet. Still haven't seen Ruffalos' Normal Heart, Tyrant on FX, Strain on FX, and some more stuff coming up on HBO. And I have yet to even marathon game of thrones yet.

There's also Last Ship on TNT which I haven't gotten around to.

Only shows I've been DVR'ing and keeping up with is the 24 mini-series and Falling Skies. 24 finishes tonight so I should have some time to check out something else.

I'll probably save this series for later.

I DVR'd "The Strain"

Leftovers isn't action, it appears to be a character based mystery....certainly holding my interest thus far.

Leftovers is definitely on my list.

Did anybody watch the first episode of Extant?

Yeah I love shows like this. Where weird stuff happens and you don't know what's going on. I also enjoyed ep 3. I thought I wasn't going to like it based on the previews, but it was really good.

This show is like Lost.

I've watched the first two episodes and have no idea what is going on.

The first two episodes they leave you in the dark, mostly, episodes 3 and 4 they start telling you about characters before the rapture. If you've thought about giving up after the first two, I would say episode's 3 & 4 should change your mind.

This quietly became one of the best shows of alll time. Sad it's ending. S2 was one of the best seasons in TV history.

I've enjoyed season three even more than season 2 and I watched that season three times before season 3 started. The hotel/international assassin plot from season 2 is one of my favorite episodes of any television show ever. I too am sad that it's ending but at least it's going out on top. I think it's the second best HBO show with only "The Wire" being better.
