One reasonable suggestion that no one but me seems to be willing to make is to bring Todd Cunningham up to play CF. He was a high draft pick (2nd round, 2010) after all, and he's had a taste of the majors in 2013.

Consider what he's done this season, injury notwithstanding: .283-6-49, 110 hits in 99 games, 13 SBs, only 68 Ks and 23 W. Defensively, 98 games in CF with only two errors and 11 assists!

A guy who's played CF his entire career! What a concept!

MOVES: Braves have promoted Alejandro Piloto from Danville to Rome. Piloto, 22, is the Cuban refugee who has shown some promise and a cannon of a throwing arm. It's the best in the system, and one of the best in all of baseball unless he's lost something in the last year or so. When he broke in with Danville in 2013, he had six OF assists in 28 games, and teams simply quit running on him! Started this year in Lynchburg, bumped all the way back to Danville, now up to Rome after 20 RBIs in 32 games for D-Braves.

Promising draft pick Tanner Krietemeier has gone on the DL, while Caleb Dirks has gone onto the temporarily inactive list.

Man, if Connor Lien develops some over the fence power, he's going to be a top prospect, IMO. He's been killing the ball since the SAL AS Break.

I take it DNP means Peraza was wearing Wren's uniform and playing center?

Lynchburg with 3 come from behind wins against Winston-Salem this series. This team does not give up.
