It was fun while it lasted but the guy is not good at pitching the baseball.

He's a decent pitcher going through a bad patch.

His bad patch has lasted a long time.

He can't get many more starts for this club IMO.

We are 2-5 in his last seven starts. He's made it very difficult for the Braves to win when he toes the rubber.

Ugh, just saw on twitter they don't think he will miss a start.

Bangs head against the wall.

I think it's for trading purposes.

We'd be lucky to get a ham sandwich for him.

Hey man...boars head ham is pretty valuable.

thethe remember when he was gonna get a qualifying offer?

He already admitted he was wrong, no one is perfect.

Yeah but being wrong about somethings is not as bad as being wrong about others. For example if Kaepernick busts it wouldn't be that bad, but the Maholm thing was cray. And thethe knows I like busting his chops.

Is that like being wrong about Tommy Hanson?

And Kaep won't bust and you know that.

We'd be lucky to get a ham sandwich for him.

We'd get salary relief and a roster spot that's good enough.

Hanson busted out cause of injury. He was pretty fantastic before it.

Looks like he will start his next game....

Only problem I have is why did he start in Chi and not in NY where he's had decent success. Meds or Julio could of started today on regular rest.

I've seen dumber things posted.

Probably unlikely but not the most ridiculous thing said from the the.

Wait so everyone doesn't wanna lock him up long term anymore?

Shocking

Dangit. Now I want pie.

And yep, Maholm blows dogs for quarters...

Maholm hasn't missed a start all year. He's a solid pitcher having a rough stretch. Soft tossers look terrible when they're getting hit and like geniuses when things are going good.

Think his next start is in NY, Thursday.

I know that, why not start Julio or Meds in Chi. And have Maholm pitch in that game spot.

he served his purpose. I kinda wish his value was higher so we could trade him and get something for him though

Then he would be facing St Louis next weekend - I'd rather take my chances with him against the White Sox lineup than the Cardinals lineup

I think it's pretty obvious he needs to go. He's solid in a few ways but he's looked bad for a while now. I'd rather roll the dice with Beach or Wood.

He's a mid to back end of the rotation pitcher. Not sure why people expected him to be much better than what he's been this season. If we keep him in the rotation he'll get back on track on some point I'm sure. But anyone expecting anything more than a high 3.00 to low 4.00 ERA from Paul was really fooling themselves.
