Should be a double.

Did he reach over? Regardless, they will give him a homer here.

Heyward

You do realize that zito was one of many here that have been advocating for this since opening day?

Yes, I know many were wanting Heyward/JUp 1-2.

I didn't think it mattered much, welp glad to be wrong.

Forget "who they're throwing at us". We're three outs from winning our eighth straight, and you're worried about "somehow" not getting swept next week by a team we've dominated all year. Cool story, bro

Did some figuring. Either 16/34 or 18/34 depending on how you count reaching on a K. Either way, really good for a leadoff hitter. Kind of helps explain the offense of late.

Everyone has been league average or better since the ASB except Gattis.

Here is the teams WRC+ for the main starting 8 since then

Heyward - 164
Upton - 102
Freeman - 159
Mac 158
Gattis - 67
Johnson - 182
Uggla - 104
Simmons - 139

Not only just one person being a negative hitter but we have 4 hitters going at an all-star level or better. It's fun to watch.
