He can do it nearly at will, it seems. Plus, having Tron out there gives him a second line of defense in case somebody makes 2B. He's as good on that play as he is everywhere else.

Jordan Zimmerman is an ace. Matt Harvey is an ace. Jake DeGromm is an ace. Jose Fernandez is an ace. King Felix is an ace. Because they know how to pitch anywhere in the league.

Some of you guys must not remember mid 20's Julio Franco. The all star/silver slugger guy. Julio could certainly hit...heck he almost has a lifetime .300 batting average despite playing until he was 48 years old. Lifetime OPS+ of 111.
