I'm pretty excited to see if we can take advantage of Colorado and get some good "Wood" in here, both from the pitcher and the hitters.

Hopefully we can take care of Kendrick, the dude has been a hot pile of dump this year!

Johnson /Avilan/Grilli/Vizcaino/Carpenter. He really should have started with a reliever and let Wood start after the delay, you don't have a surprise rain delay 10 pitches into the game. If it doesn't rain then pinch hit for the pitcher in the 3rd and bring Wood in.

Peterson is falling off offensively and defensively. He's only at +4 DRS and I'm sure that number was higher a month+ ago.

I'm not giving up on him at all but this is why we don't anoint young players after a good couple of months. Peraza should be given a chance to play at some point.

Yeah, when Jace was hitting .275ish and posting close to a .750 OPS it made good sense to leave Peraza down all year, but if he's posting a sub .700 OPS for the year Peraza should be getting a shot. Jace has had very solid defense this year but it's not like he's been a gold glover out there.

That game was exhausting to watch live. The rain never stopped. I didn't understand after 2 pitches why Wood had to come out. I thought it was kind of bush league how they started that game knowing rain was coming. On the other hand, Once Brigham came in the game I thought it would be a blow out, but the Braves fought back and stayed in the game until the end. I am wrecked now though - I didn't get home until 12:45 local time. I'm glad I am not going to the game tonight, even though I wanted to see Miller pitch. Is there any chance they push everyone back a day and Wood pitches tonight?

Couldn't tough it out last night. Had an hour plus drive and worked at 7 this morning. Wasn't worth it, but I am damn angry about it though. Had good seats this time again. :(
