The very interesting Isranel Wilson.

Another 2014 international signee who skipped the DSL altogether. Putting up some interesting stats. Striking out too much, but walks at a decent rate and it appears when he does make contact, the ball gets spanked. 6 of his 11 hits have been for extra bases, including 3 HRs.

I like that outing from Folty. A K an inning with only one walk and less than a hit an inning is what I like to see. When he's locating his pitches he's very tough.

I like him as a starter. His ability to maintain velocity deep into games is impressive.

We have plenty of candidates for the pen going forward. Vizcaino. Shae Simmons. Others among our lesser starting pitching prospects. Someone like Folty needs to be given every opportunity to make it as a starter. He and Wisler could both be something special.
