Might as well give CJ the Dan Uggla treatment after this year if you can't deal him away. See how he does in spring training, and if he's still a turd, just dump him and eat the money.

Cranking up now.

Folty off to a good start. (Gives up hit as I type.)

LOL I was saying to my wife "Folty's throwing serious gas" just as he gave up the single.

CB mentored A J on throwing before they sent him down. Seriously, CB is hitting well in AAA. If he gets his head right and puts his tools together, he still could be the catcher of the future.

Meanwhile, CJ mentored A J on hitting into double plays.

We're going to do our level best to keep the AL East competitive.

Hard to get excited about a zombie baseball team. Great call to extend Fredi so we can quit in the last 2 months of the season like we've done in 2 of the other 3 years he's been in charge.

Folty pitched alright tonight. I'd like him to pitch for the big league club for the rest of the season please.

After last nights amazing display of offense the Braves are sitting at a 296 WOBA which is good for a WRC+ of 86 which puts them right above Philly for 14th place in the NL. Not only could the Braves be worse than last year there is a real shot they end up last in the NL when the season is over. The Braves 18.4% K rate (lowest in the NL) is really paying off this year.

Good things happen when you put the ball in play
