Whalen and Gant having good starts. Aren't they the bums we acquired for KJ and Uribe?

Yep, both are/were dealing tonight. Back on the Hart train!

I'm happy to see they're doing well but to beat on your chest on how right you are after their first starts is kinda getting into thethe territory.

I disagree. One start is all one ever needs to properly evaluate a prospect.

I will say that these particular starts made me pretty happy in my pants.

Austin Riley up to Danville and goes 2-4. This guy can be very very special.

My apologies. I thought you were trying to be one of the many know-it-alls we have on here.

I don't want to get overly excited about Riley... But damn! I can't wait to see Pache and Cruz too. Yepez also could be a stud.

Riley is a position of need to which is a breath of fresh air. Come 2017 he could be close.

Don't sleep on Acuna. 17. Plays a premium position. Shows some speed and power. Very good strikeout and walk rates.

Anyone know if we'll see Cruz or Pache this year at all?

With the way the VISA process works, I'd assume not but who knows

Acuna excites me a lot too. I just didn't know anything about him before this year

One start eval is better than no starts, which is what everyone else judged them on

Seems to have a knack for the OF assist as well.

We don't like to talk about that one.

Is Toscano (spelling?) on a team yet or are we still waiting for him?

No one knows where Toscano is... last we heard was he was in extended Spring Training and was close to being assigned to a club... but he still has not been assigned anywhere and I don't know if anyone knows if he's even alive.

Nice start by the bums we got for KJ and Juan.
