Someone remind me why we extended fredi so early in the season. Does our FO think there were gonna be teams coming after him?

I liked most of the moves hart made up until Fredi's extension. Then it was like someone else took over. Someone who thinks fredi is a good manager. Someone who think trading a top 50 prospect and a good, young lh starter for a 30 year old with a problem staying healthy. Ok, the Whalen and gant trade looks better now.

Really is the only bright spot. Hopefully a rookie starter steps up, Olivera is the real deal, and/or Bethancourt plays well in September to add another bright spot(s)
