Fried in the top of 3rd gave up a dink and then a bomb. tied at 2..

Riley still 1-1 with a walk in the 3rd.

lol I tune into Rome just in time to see a comedy of errors. 1B missed throw to first on pickoff attempt, then Riley misses the throw to third and the runner scores.

edit - this Rome announcer is a dumbass.

Mallex is pounding on the door. Won't somebody pay attention.

I hate to ask this, but is Jason Hursch the most disappointing first round pick of the last decade or so for the Braves?

Wasn't DeVall a first rounder?

Wasn't lipka a first rounder?

Peterson keeps hitting...will he have any power for a lf?

Not a bad debut for fried

Mallex...will he be good enough to have two no power guys in the of? Him and inciarte should be great on d but they might not hit 10 hr combined and don't know about doubles.

Seems like if the long term idea is mallex and inciarte in the same of we need a lot of power from the other of spot 3b and catcher

Anyone know what the deal is with Josh Graham? He was my breakout pick this year but I don't see him on a roster.

Going by J.R. Graham now. Twins sent him to Rochester and thrown in one game so far

Was Macay McBride a first rounder?

And Tyler Houston?

Technically I believe he was a compensation pick in the supplemental round between the first and second rounds. #31 overall. Compensation for Michael Bourn.

Mallex has been a great positive surprise since we traded for him. Not highly heralded at the time but to me he now has a good chance to be a 2 WAR player with regular playing time.

Not sure if this is a joke, but if not he's talking about the pitcher from Oregon we drafted last year.

All J. Grahams look alike to me! Oh, THAT Graham.

If he's not on a roster, then he's at extended spring; maybe with a minor injury. If you think back, several guys were added to Rome during the first half of the season from extended spring; since I am not thinking about the correct one, I'd say he's a fair to middling bet to get a callup (IF he isn't injured more seriously).

Cody Johnson, I hated this pick with the intensity of a thousand suns. Dude cant even make consistent contact in rookie ball lolololol.
