CB could be around for a long time.

La Stella has me pumped. This dude can flat out rake. I would like too see him have more AB's as he only has roughly 550+ in the past two seasons mainly due to injury but what is their not to like? He walks more than he strikes out and his high average isn't from a bunch of singles either. 25 XBH between Car and Miss this year in 260 AB's.

Also, does FW have a dilemma or what? CB looks to have turned the corner with the bat. His production at the plate has been night and day from his first three years and he's doing it while only being 21 at AA. Would like to see the walks go up but he's not k'ing an awful lot either with 50 at 360 AB's. He had a terrible May and a below average June but has been raking the last two months. If he keeps this up at the plate with his defense he may be starting sooner rather than later.

Our scouting department is unreal. For whatever reason "scouts" who rank farm systems don't give Atlanta enough credit. It seems our guys get under valued while in the minors yet all we do is produce a massive amount of big leaguers every year. Just look at how many curent and former pitchers in the bigs who were developed in our farm.

Looks like the Ash Borer got into a few bat bags last night.

Nice late season runs for Lynchburg and Rome. I honestly don't know what to think of the players on the Lynchburg team. Some nice performances from guys like Rohm and Reyes and while I like Reyes more than most, I just can't get a handle on their respective ceilings. No power from Rohm, which doesn't bode well. The Castro kid who just arrived from the Mexican League is doing fairly well.

Very underrated. We lack those perennial prospects other systems have. Once they're ready, we bring them up rather than letting them languish for two-three years in AAA.

I haven't done an analysis, but who else has graduated five position player starters, a lights out closer and several relievers, and an entire rotation which leads MLB in ERA?
