They both have good arms, the biggest difference is that Frenchy range has declined so much that he shouldn't play RF. Inciarte's strength is his top notch range to go along with a good arm for any OF position. Just laughable to not have him in RF or CF if Frenchy is playing. Frenchy has less range in RF than Markakis, lol.

Inciarte should never, ever play LF. He is one of the top handful of defensive OF in all of baseball. So regardless of who is in RF, if Inciarte is in LF, it's a dumb decision.

It really is scary bad, if this season meant anything I'd be a lot more annoyed. Shoot I'd be pissed. Given the rebuild, I just keep saying well at least we'll get a higher pick because of this. But even saying that doesn't get around the fact that how Teheran and others perform effects their trade value and that includes runs charged against them so often because of terrible catcher AJP and not having your best players play where they should. At least Flowers is catching Teheran tonight though.

Game could very well be 0-0 if Inciarte is in RF, only question would be throwing out that runner. I think it would've been close and he'd had a real shot.

Have y'all noticed that Desmond has done so well in the OF for Texas that he's now their CFer? It's a small sample but he's done fine in CF so far too, nothing special but better than I expected. Makes me wish we signed him to a two year deal for LF.

Neck is Neck, man. He's going to do enough to show you that he's a big league hitter with an idea of what he's doing at the plate, and while that has value, he's just that and nothing else. He's a pro with a good head on his shoulders who's smart and proud enough to take what the pitchers give him, but he's far enough into his decline that he's not going to be any more than that. If we had a chance to move him, we probably should have jumped on it.

On the other hand, he can at least impersonate a major-league RF occasionally, which is more than Jeff can do at this point in his career. That dude has no business in RF.

In his last 4 starts, Teheran is averaging close to 7 IP with an ERA just over 1. And has 0 wins. Impressive.
