d'Arnaud and Francoeur combine for a run. French Connection, baby!

Also apt because seeing them as our most productive hitters makes you want to OD on heroin.

that's greatness right there. Although d'Arnaud has played extremely well this year. So kudos to him.

Yeah, he really has. Credit where credit is due.

This was a problem for Wisler last year—couldn't get out of his own way when he got a lead.

Really Wisler... This lineup isn't that much better than ours lol good to see we give him runs and he decides it's not important to pitch well today.

Wisler isn't as good as his ERA indicates. He's had the fortune of balls finding a lot of gloves so far this season. So it shouldn't be surprising when he does start to give up some hits.

I'm fine with the ERA, it's that he's doing this horrible pitching against a horrible lineup

Having a low BABIP can make it look like your pitching better than you are is all I'm saying.

This is embarrassing and stupid.

Okay, I lied. This outing completely jacked his awesome ERA.

LA has a much better lineup than we do.

Not really saying much but still.

At some point Wisler will have to start striking guys out or he'll never be more than a low end #3/high end #4 starter no matter how well he pitches. You can get away with a less than awesome K rate if you are a strong ground ball pitcher, but unfortunately Wisler is not. He needs to get his K rate at least up to around where Julio has been for his career to have long term success.

Not a babip issue. He got rocked. I get the stat but we've seen a lit of week contact from him. Today even outs were hit hard. Didn't have anything

He's like most of our pitchers....he's a 3-4 to me. Those guys get hit sometimes.

I agree with the last poster about k. He needs a put away pitch if he's going to be a guy you want past his arb years

everybody gets hit sometimes , I think it's good for him to take his whoopins this season and learn from them. Rome wasn't built in a day, and most arms don't come out of the gate as what they develop into.
