Shae Simmons has been diagnosed with lat tendinitis.
Simmons suffered the injury while rehabbing from Tommy John surgery. His MRI showed no structural damage but Simmons will be shut down for at least 7-10 days. Before his setback, Simmons hadn't allowed an earned run in five rehab appearances for Low-A Rome and Triple-A Gwinnett.
