Very good. Don't ever pay attention to Carolina so that was a cool update. Thanks again.

Demeritte and moss have given me a reason to keep up with Carolina now

Blair working hard to earn a promotion to start for the big club Saturday. Perfect game through 4 IP with 4 Ks. Recent reports on his regained velocity are very encouraging.

Also, Thurman, who needs good outing desperately, has no-hitter through three innings

Even though there is a need at the major league level, I'd rather see Blair and Whalen continue to build their confidence in AAA for a few more starts.

Blair may have figured it back out again.

Give em about 3-4 more starts to prove it in AAA

That probably would be for the best. There's a selfish part of me that in anxious to get a look at Whalen though.

Not a great Touki start and Demerite 0-4 / 4ks

At least Minter is still being Minter.

One of Blair's problems in the majors was having AJP as his battery mate.

Meh, he's transitioning to a new organization, new teammates, new league, I'm not too worried about the first 15 ABs - he does have a couple XB hits already.

Yeah, Blair in particularly shouldn't be seeing the majors till Sept at the earliest. I might have to go all Enscheff and question the FO's brainpower in a major way if they jerked him around again right now. He needs to at least build confidence for a solid month in AAA. Really zero need to move him or Whalen up right now.

There's a chance Whalen can get a spot start on Wednesday
