Ruiz and Riley with big homeruns... Wentz struggled a bit. Hasn't had the smoothest transition to Danville but nothing to be real worried about in his first pro year. Seymour with a hit, stolen base, and run scored

I'm actually kind of glad Wentz is struggling a bit. He's been rolling for a full calendar year, some difficulty will probably help his development.

Danville is a big set up. Riley Pint started in the Appalachian League and has struggled the whole time.

I saw some video of Riley Pint pitching in the rain earlier today. I'm not sure when the game was, but his curve ball was working. It was wicked!

Rio Ruiz is a triple away from the cycle.

Nice to see Albies hitting again. He has been in a horrible slump.

Sims has been great, though in some trouble as I type. I don't remember if they've let him approach 100 pitches before.....updated....he got out of it.

He's 21 and doing this in AA. You can say this all you want; it doesn't make it any more correct.

I am pretty sure he is poking fun at another notable poster or two who say that about all Braves prospects.

Another day off for Swanson. I keep waiting for him to get hot again and make me feel all warm and fuzzy about him taking over SS next year, and it just isn't happening.

Shall we bet? Or are you only willing to passive aggressively talk ****?

I've been high on Sims for a long time, so I love seeing him have success. He's going to struggle at times, command kills the guy - but his stuff is just so overpowering.

Why are we giving him so many days off? Are we resting him for a September call up?

Video of Ruiz' bomb.

Like his set up, pretty quiet. Seems like he smoked that one with ease.

It really must be, and thats just from box score scanning. For the games he allows 5bb and 5 hits over 6 IP, he still manages the damage pretty well.

He has a deep load on his swing that, in the past, has thrown off his sequencing.

I was wondering that about Swanson too. He gets to many days off. He's 22, it's not like he's out of shape.

It's his first full year of professional ball. That's quite a change on the body the first time

They've probably decided he's tiring out from the long season, which could explain some of his recent struggles.

He has to be battling some sort of injury. There's just no way he should be struggling this badly at AA after playing so well earlier at the same level. I wouldn't be shocked at all to read after the season that he was playing through some sort of injury.

There's no way they would let him play through a wrist, hand, back or oblique injury, so I'm guessing something like a bum ankle or hammy.
