Off day is the only thing that can stop miss right now. Also rumors that Anderson is pitching for Danville tonight.

Randy Ventura with another sacrifice fly today. I feel like he has a lot of them for a light hitting speed guy.

Has he any stolen bases today?

Nah, last one was August 1st. Might have to change my name to Ventura Is Always Walking.

Osuna hit a monster blast for Danville. That guy's power is legit. 110 mph exit velocity on a 430 foot HR.

There's a misprint in your report, it says Anderson gave up a run.

He did. He went 3.2 innings. He had a guy on 3rd with two outs in the fourth and they put in a relief pitcher who promptly gave up a hit to allow the run to score.

Danville hitters scuffling a good bit.

Davidson keeps it up.

Good night for Demeritte, the power is real but so are the K's. I can live with that for now.

Boy, Bird has been pretty brutal this year. The report on him was big guy, live arm, good stuff, but its not been good at all.

BA Chat:

Zoey (Columbia, SC): Now that he's throwing strikes, could Touki Toussaint move quickly through A and AA ball?
Ben Badler: Wouldn’t expect him to be a fast mover, but the fact that his location has been much improved the last two months of the season gives a lot greater confidence that he can reach his upside as a front-end starter. The pure stuff certainly hasn’t been in question.

Claudio (Sardinia (Italy)): What do you think of Dustin Peterson? He is showing steady progress both at the plate and in the outfield, even if over the fence power is still lagging behind other results. Can he be a starting corner outfield guy in the majors?
Ben Badler: Improvement from a year ago is good to see, but still looks fringy. Don’t see enough offense to be an everyday guy in left field.

need to add Ramon to my radar sheet. Dude is raking in Danville.. 110 exit velocity on a hanging slider is very legit power.

Those of you who only post messages for me only when you're pointing out mistakes -- or think you are: please continue. In lieu of a proofreader, it helps me keep the work clean and sharp.

I would respond to this, but I see no glaring errors.

Osuna is obviously a big, strong kid. Had two really good seasons at Walters State after starting out at the College of Charlestown before transferring.

Here's an interview with him from Tomahawk Take: https://tomahawktake.com/2016/06/21/interview-with-atlanta-braves-14th-round-pick-first-baseman-ramon-osuna/

I thought that sentence didn't read smoothly.. didn't look hard enough to see it.
