Also bet Wilson gets the start for the GCL Braves today. Supporting his .087 ERA and .92 Whip with 25K/5BB 20.2 IP...

that is where he finished at too. I wish they would just let them go one more inning now that there are only a few games left.

Exactly right, and he held up his end with three shutout innings for an 0.76 ERA so far.

Eh, there's no reason to. If he's about to shut his arm down, the added work doesn't help him long-term, and you always run the risk of overextending him beyond what he's used to.

In fact, I'd err on the side of shutting him down earlier and building him up to start next year.

he got ambushed. he will lock them down for the last 6 innings. G-Braves got him 6 in the bottom half so he is all good.

Even if he gets blew up in the 7th, your prediction was good. Who should I bet money on tonight?

Mader through 5 now on 69 pitches. No runs, 4 hits, no walks, 3 Ks. A lot to like about his age 22 season in A+ / AA.

do we have anyone who can hit the ball within this organization tonight. Guys are pitching their hearts out (less Blair) and nobody is producing runs.

something about a blind squirrel.. But I still think Wisler will be good. He has the stuff. I still want to believe in Blair too, but I just keep seeing Cahill.. I think Blair will notch out a career in his late 20s..

Clouse with the save. continuing his good work. Also Custred pitched a scoreless inning. He was a 30th round pick last year, if I am remembering correctly. But he had a very surprising year.. very good K numbers. I remember stat watching him last summer and was excited about him moving quickly this year, but struggled a little in Rome to start, hopefully figuring things out...

Also, check his picture out and tell me him and Soroka are not related... I dare you!!

Soroka has completely taken me by surprise. Jeez. Also, Wisler killed it. It may be time to bring him back up, we need him and the year is almost over anyways.
