So if you won the lottery or whatever what would you want.

1. Nano Brewery, homebrewing and for career.

2. Sports stuff, for baseball, football, and soccer playing.

3. Flattop in the kitchen, for cooking steaks, burgers, eggs, etc.

4. Urinal.

5. Walk in fridge for things like charcuterie, cheese, lagering, and things like that.

I'd buy a huge property upstate so I could build a golf course on it.

I'd have a theatre style entertainment room to watch movies and sports.

Walk in freezer/fridge would be a must as well.

A urinal Zito? really?

Way to shoot for the stars Zito. Other than #1, the rest of this stuff you can buy comfortably making $15 an hour.

WEll the urinal and flattop are a little normal. But they're awesome and I want. Sports stuff maybe I should have clarified. I want basically a sports complex. Pitching machines, field large enough for full size play of football, baseball, etc. And I want it all in NJ which if you don't know getting that much land isn't cheap. There are tons of other things I want that are slightly less important.

Yes I do, but it's not the same.

I'd get a potty putter and one of those carpeted stair cases so my cat can get on my bed easier.

4. Urinal.
We're building now, not exactly our "dream" house, but I'm gonna have a urinal in my workshop/storage room. Very handy when working outside.

One other thing I'm happy about is a raised (40 cm) tatami area with drawers underneath that will act as a kind of daybed or small play area for kids.

1. Walk-in pool. Steps are for poor people.

2. Insanely huge garage/shop

3. Elevator (see No.1 about the steps)

4. A theatre room to watch por.... er... um.... for watching movies and games and ****.... definitely not porn

5. A Drawing room. No idea what it is or what its use is for, but rich people always seem to have one.

6. A guard shack to keep the people the eff out my house. (not sure if this counts since this is technically not in the house)

I like the urinal idea, but I don't think you have to be rich to install one.

Just goes to show how ignorant you are about NJ. Where to many rich people who work in Philly or NYC live? NJ has the 3rd highest median income for a reason. Look up houses in Princeton you'd probably **** your pants.

All the books.

Yea: libraries (as in: library plural) for me.

Also: legitimate film screening-room (as in: celluloid). One of my libraries would exist simply to house reels.

Ha

That reminds me of my Wall of vinyl idea. Though if Neil Young's HiFi comes out then eff vinyl.

I doubt I'd **** anything irregular over seeing where you would wish upon wish your dream home would be.

I'd be somewhere with plenty of real estate , or coastal.

Nothing overboard I want inside the house, but I want a house in the Tetons

I would want a fully functioning recording studio with an old school Neve soundboard and a tape machine. I would have a Pro-Tools rig as well, but really want to be able to record to tape. It would be stocked with any instrument I would ever need, including my pick of Gibson guitars.

So I have to presume you've watched Sound City?

Have I not spoken of my love for Dave Grohl around here? I saw it in the theater at the one off screening the day before the release. Obviously, I can't have that Neve board but they are pretty great. Plus I just love the idea of still recording to tape in 2013. New and easier doesn't always mean better.

zitothebrave

True. I think tape is great. The sound is great and most importantly you can't fake it as easy as you can electronically.

Some more **** I'd want

1. Not to copy Renee, but I always wanted a pretty simple setup. Soundproof, Neil Peart style drumset, just so I can goof around. I would get a 4 and 5 string bass, Fenders 50s/60s P Bass for the 4 and a Music Man 5 string Bass. For guitars I'd want way too many. But I'd want one of many styles like several Strats, a Jaguar, Telecaster, Jazzmaster, a few Les Pauls, a few SGs, a flying V, a few others I don't care to continue to list. And whatever Mic. I would have an electronic soundboard because odds are myself or someone else not experienced would be operating it.

2. A slide. 2 slides actually, one because it would be more fun to slide down then take an elevator. Second is a water slide from somewhere in the house to the pool outside. Just because.

3. While this doesn't qualify as something I need a ton of money to have. I'd want tap lines that run through the house so I can get beer all of the time without having to do things like go to the basement, or limiting my choices to what's in a kegerator in each room.

4. Wine/Beer Cellar. Set to perfect cellaring temps (around 60 or so) Wine would take up about half and beer the other half. I'd also have a complex barrel aging system for my beers.

5. Hop garden. Not a luxury thing at all but I really want one.
