This fear exists as a result of decades of deliberate actions from the left. We should not be surprised it exists.

It's gotten past the silly stage that's for sure. I think people need to get out more.

Are you sure this isn't just a fear of Cam Newton's favorite brand of yogurt?

I experienced this one time when I was driving around Houston and I saw a sign saying I was in Sheila Jackson Lee's district.

I'm telling you folks. Bill Bishop's The Big Sort saw all of this coming. People are choosing to live next to like-minded people and that creates all kinds of echo chambers and decreases the ability of people to understand different viewpoints and work comfortably around people with different viewpoints. It is unbelievable and I find the article above horrifying. Ned Resnikoff's reaction would be comical if he weren't being serious. Lighten up Ned, the guy is coming to fix the plumbing and not to kill you.

Nancy Isenberg's book White Trash is a worthwhile read. I think most people who react negatively to the book are turned off by the title. It's a pretty good history of class in America starting with the colonial period.

Hillbilly Elegy just arrived from Amazon today. Will need to put White Trash on my reading list too.

The softness of this country knows no bounds. My goodness the left is just a giant pouting ground.

If this is real then that's a very sad thing.
