Some nice injury insurance at AAA. As far as I can tell, has one option remaining. Braves can put SRod or Winkler on the 60-day DL to make room. Wouldn't guess he has a realistic chance of making the team as a bench option out of ST.

Agreed. I figured this may be coming when I saw him DFA'd.

Wonder why they are trying to clear him off the 40 man right now. to my knowledge we have some spots open still with the DL additions.

Yeah, we had 39 and were trying to get to 38. Probably nothing and just trying to sneak him through like we did with the other Walker, but still interesting.

I guess we are making our first round of cuts and trying to sneak him past everyone early while no one is hopefully looking for any players, but more in evaluation mode of spring training.

Can't we pull him back if we wanted to keep him? I know he would have to be on 40 man if we did.

**no big loss in the scheme of things really.
