I think there needs to be a third forum for realists.

This is roughly the same thing. I was gonna call this Pessimists/Realists. But I like the ying yang better. So anything falling under realist can go under here.

AS LONG AS YOU HAVE EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT YOUR REALISM.

Realist posts can also fall under optimists too AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT YOUR OPTIMISM.

Not good enough. I want a section for surrealism. Where I would have the power to strictly moderate and ban a couple posters from the outset.

One more thing. I need to be able to thank myself for my own posts.

Ive been trying to figure out how to get that feature working for years. But the software developer I downloaded it from won't add it.

Should make it so my account only has access to one of the two forums you have created. :YDS:

I laugh at those who are pessimistic. I have long said the Braves will not be "that" team, the one that has hope, until 2020. That is if and only if guys like Allard, Fried, Soroka, Gohara and Wentz, plus Maitan, Riley, Albies and others get to the majors by 2019. Once that happens then we will see how good things get.

There rarely is a magic year like some are saying 2020 will be. Last to first in one season doesn't happen. Except very rarely.

At the major league level, my wish is for improved production from the guys we are building the team around: Freeman, Teheran, Inciarte, Swanson, Folty. By the way the fact I list these guys as the building blocks does not mean they are on a don't trade list. Everyone is tradeable if the price is right. But these guys are our major assets at the major league level, and I want their production to be such that their value goes up.

Similarly, I care more about certain guys in the minors. Albies, Soroka, Allard, Acuna, Anderson, Maitan. These are the guys who constitute the bulk of the value of our minor league system. I'm always happy when some unheralded guy (like a Prado) develops unexpectedly. But the success of the rebuild will largely depend on the current high value assets both in the majors and minors holding that value or optimistically appreciating some.
