Soroka really struggling his last 3 strikes. Control has been a major problem

Enderson Franco just being used as a starter around what seems like every level in the minors this year. He's older but he also dominated at Gwinnett. Any chance of a diamond in the rough there?

Anderson struggled in the first inning but seemed to settle down after. Needs to cut down on walks. Herbert with ANOTHER homerun and is really bringing it. Would be cool to have a stud catcher catching Allard in the majors with them being HS battery mates

Franco mashing but he's older

Austin Riley is killing A+ pitching right now. However, he'll have to shorten his swing to be a success at the higher levels I believe.

Talk about your small samples.

Talk about an observation I just brought up. I never said anything about anywhere close to giving up on him. Relax ace

3 starts in a row. God forbid I just make an observation with zero negative commentary. Thanks for that though. Forgot discussion boards aren't there for discussion or observations.

Okay okay... I see my mistake.
Autocorrect said strikes when I meant starts. Still you know what I meant

Updated numbers: Acuna 40 K/7 BB. Riley 33 K/5 BB. Jackson 32 K/5 BB.

I want to be excited about these guys, but those are some painful numbers to look at.

Riley's game winner write up...

"Trying to stay short to the plate" was in there to whoever was saying he needs to shorten up.

I think (hope) that those numbers will shake out a little better as the season goes on, since these are pretty young guys recently promoted. AA ball next year will be a big test.

Although I know that as the young guys move up it'll bring out flaws that weren't visible in the lower minors, I'd be patient with Jackson and Acuna especially since their walk rates were never a big issue.

Haha I know, it was just a joke.
