I was very impressed by how he pitched last night. Anyone want to venture a guess on what we might get when we flip him at the deadline?

in a scenario where we eat most of his contract...we might get a top 100 prospect...no?

Colon will eat the contract so we won't have to.

Braves will be lucky to give him away for nothing, meaning he has zero surplus value.

At the trade deadline he will be owed about $4M. Assuming he has zero surplus value, and the Braves payed all of that $4M, that $4M isn't buying a Top 100 prospect worth $10M+.

The best the Braves can hope for is some lottery ticket BP arm.

if the pattern holds they would be looking for some high upside asset with some sort of flaw, whether it's injury, performance, or sheer youth.

Another lottery ticket.

Another lottery ticket.

Could be the next Sean Ratcliffe.

I feel like that was one of the worst Coppy trades. didn't understand that one at all.
