Jeremy Walker has been pitching much better as of late. 2 ER in his last 19 innings going 7 the last 2 outings. 8 of his last 10 starts he's given up 2 ER or less with a couple of stinkers in there for a 2.97 ERA over his last 10.

Hughes was a closer in college from my alma mater. Had good stuff and looks to have picked up where he left off. Good to see

He went to Sprayberry High and lived near my neighborhood. I know some kids in the neighborhood who played high school ball with him. Supposedly he's an ahole, but for a reliever I'm ok with that.

Can't wait to see him in September.

Nick or Kemp might be gone before Sept. 1 it appears.

Good lord, please at least get Nick out.... I'd rather keep him, but Kemp is just unmovable.

Ruiz 2-2, 2 hr

His production relative to his BA has been pretty impressive in Gwinnett this year. It's hard to see him getting a real shot in Atlanta, but he may still prove to have value.

I want him or camargo playing 3b in September

Definitely. Would have been nice to have Camargo at 2B, Dansby at SS, Ruiz at 3B, and Albies in AAA. Oh well.

Having Albies in Atlanta is awesome.

Braves are going to have a lot of money to spend and I believe we will see these kids locked up real soon.

It would give us an additional cheap year of Albies while giving us an opportunity to see these other guys a little longer.

Pache 2-4, 3b

He committed an error, which is his 6th. I was surprised to see that error total for such a highly regarded defensive player. I know errors don't tell the story of how good a defensive player is, but 6 seemed excessive for a CF

Soroka in a little rough patch. Wearing down or league adjusting to him some?

Errors are always high for young guys in the low minors.

Wearing down. It's been a great year. He will get at least half a season in AAA next year.

Maitan really scuffling along.

K rate at Danville is 28% and the BB rate is 4.9%.

Was just watching some clips of Acuna on the GBraves website. The swing reminds me a little of Alfonzo Soriano

Interesting. I see way less pre-swing noise for Acuna, and the actual swing looks shorter for Acuna as well.

Alex Jackson starting to get into the swing of things.

He could be an impactful bat as early as 2019.
