Can’t imagine his tone, comments, and overall schtick helped his cause. Also makes me imagine he won’t yet be willing to accept a AAA assignment with any other team.

If Coppy and Hart were still in-charge this is a move they make for sure. They would probably have sent Albies too.

With our bullpen woes at times, i wouldn't mind taking a flyer on him, IF he accepted a minor league contract with an opt out after a few weeks. The Mets would be on the hook for a majority of his contract.

I think he can be fixed. But we shouldn't be the one's to do it (unless it's a minor league deal).

Watch him go to the Astros and increase his spin rate by 250 RPM.
