This is his first full/real year as a pro, and the Braves don’t need him to be anything for 2-3 years. It’d be obviously preferable if he were pwning; but, as with Anderson’s walk issues, patience is paramount.

That’s true we dont need him right now but for a guy thats 22 about to be 23, got the biggest bonus in Braves history and a guy the Braves thought was the best player in the 16 draft I thought he’d be better. Still very early of course.

A very strange pick indeed. Never could figure out why they drafted him the third round much less go overslot to sign him.
