View Full Version : What do we do with Culberson when Acuna gets back?

So Culberson has been killing it lately but when Acuna returns he’ll obviously be back in LF. That means either Culberson or someone else is headed to the bench. Looking around the diamond the only person Cluberson could really take over for is Camargo. My questions for everyone are what should we do and what will we do?

Inciarte and Markakis as well. No reason Acuña couldn’t play in Center or Right. It’s all moot, though. We’re discussing Charlie Culberson.

I like this.


I like the fact that he can be our miniature version of Marwin Gonzalez. He can give a certain guy a day off each day of the week if necessary. Once Ronald is back, he can even give Ender or Nick a day off as you then put Acuna in center or right field (like they did with Bourjos in CF the other day). Charlie could technically give every single player a day off except for Catcher.

IIRC, he's the emergency Catcher as well.
