McCann stayed on an unholy tear. Just about everyone in the lineup else showed signs of life—just not all at once. Pitching was underwhelming. The umpiring was brutal. Hernandez and Eddings were each their standard combination of 1) bad at their jobs and 2)hypersensitive.
