Youch he's screwing me in fantasy this year. Wish I went with my gut and started Case Keenum again. For a guy with no obvious flaws, he's been extremely disappointing. He has a loooong way to go.

Bob can pass for over 100 yards.

Really? Because he also had a game last season against Atlanta where he tossed 91. He also doesn't have a 400 yard passing day under his belt either.

Yeah, count games where he gets knocked out of the game?

If you want to compare passing yards (despite the lack of 400), he has 2,450 passing yards.........Kaper**** has 1,675.

I have no side in this fight, but to be fair, most of SF's games Kaep doesnt have to throw and the passing game is basically shutdown in in 2nd half. Where RG3 has quite a bit of garbage time yards. That said, RG3 has looked like a much better passer this year.

That is true. But, when they have needed CK to make some passes, he's been unable to do so outside of the first game of the year.

I agree, which is why I said RG3 has been better.

This year

And half of those yards are a result of the team abandoning the rushing attack. Also one quarterback has over 100 more pass attempts.

I still think Kap has a lot of potential. With all these young QB's they are going to have their ups and downs. That being said, he obviously is not as good as people thought he was last year during the 49ers Super Bowl run.

RG3 is a better passer imo, with not so great passing options in his arsenal.

I guess we'll see once Kap gets some guys back, VD healthy, and Crabtree returning.

Both are very far from bring considered great. Both have loads of potential and should be playing better than they are.

Remember RG3 didn't have a preseason and is coming off a serious knee injury. He's looked a little better in recent weeks. It also would help if the line would block for him.

See how stupid it was for Jaws to say he "could be one of the best of all time"? Anyone COULD be, but it's extremely difficult, and chances are insanely slim that Kaep comes anywhere close.

At this rate he'll be lucky to be in the league in two seasons.

Yeah because Brees was so great against San Fran...if it weren't for the Saints being at home and getting a penalty on a sack they lose that game.

(a) That was a fairly-called penalty.
(b) Brees was still better than Kaepernick.

While Kap sucked, it wasn't all his fault. He had zero time to throw that last drive and then Gore dropped that would be game sealing pass that would have gone for 50+ yards.

I'm sure Bree had all day in the pocket.

I need to see more than one good game against a horrible team after what we has done the previous two weeks. I think getting back Manningham has helped tremendously even though his production isn't showing it. It should get even better with Crabtree back.

Certainly............it really isn't that difficult to pass against a team that is giving Vernon Davis and Boldin one on one coverage to go along with zero pass rush. I give Kaep credit for getting the ball out to those 2, but I'm not sure last nights game is a good indicator for him.

Is Vernon Davis healthy yet? I saw him out run a corner (with the slight assistance of a push off)

thethe
11-26-2013, 03:54 PM
Yes, Vernon Davis is healthy now and I have said that for a few weeks. If you haven't noticed I've killed Kaep for his previous two games.

Also, the Redskins sold out to stop the run and dared Kaep to beat them. 49ers smartened up and started passing the ball on first down and beat them down the field. Boldin made tough catches but basically every ball was put in the perfect spot.
