She's keeping it real right now.

This position she's taking is just a pretty smart political one. It makes no sense to impeach Trump if McConnell is just going to protect him in the Senate anyways. Once the Mueller report comes out and if there is enough Republican support to impeach in both chambers then she can just pivot and ride the wave.

Keeping it real?

There are no crimes. It was a fraud from the beginning.

As far back as 2017 Pelosi came out against impeachment.

This is not a new sentiment

There are over a dozen things any other president would be impeached over, whether you are willing to admit them or not. Trump is a lying, fraudulent, felonious, crook who colluded with our cold war enemy and other uber rich fascists to subvert the democratic process and enrich him and his family at the expense of his ignorant racist followers.

It takes something the Republicans care about because the Senate will vote along party lines then Trump can claim he was found innocent. At this point impeachment would take so long it's not worth it. Better to beat him in an election. If he wins then they will have ample evidence from 2 years of house investigations to pursue impeachment.

and this is again worthy discussion.

House Freshman class members are arguing - whether there is or not enough evidence to impeach --- it is their constitutional obligation to investigate

I dont think House (D) are buying the Barr Dog and Pony Show
as do some of our fellow Braves fans

By holding a continuous stream of hearings the Dems can discharge their constitutional responsibility. This might or might not move the needle on public opinion enough to bring aboard some Republicans. But they need to take a restrained approach and let the chips fall where they may. The Dems have a strong hand. No need to overplay it.

Keep in mind there is much more to come regarding the Trump Organization, Trump's taxes, Trump and Deutsche, etc etc. Much more.

Impeachment at this point is only happening if Trump gets reelected. Democrats need 60 to convict in the senate so thats the magic number. Really dont want Pence tonbe President.

"at this point"

I think we are in the top of the 4th.
Trump has thrown 90 pitches and (D) has thrown 40

By holding a continuous stream of hearings

Anything that distracts these people from trying to pass new legislation would be welcomed by me

After Mueller, McGahn is probably the most important witness the Judiciary Committee needs to hear from.
