Carle had to go down as he was the 26th man for game 2 yesterday. That's part of the rules for 26th man.

It also makes you wonder how a young reliever will ever make enough service time to qualify for full pension. I wonder if this is something that will be addressed during the next collective bargaining.

I worry about the pressure on guys on one start, knowing that a shaky outing costs them a demotion. Doesn't lead to good things.

I think the young pitchers understand what the general plan for them is but I like that if they preform at the mlb level they get an opportunity to stay up

Could be cold weather really affected Touki. Lost all feel for his pitches out there. We seem to have a few guys that definitely don't enjoy colder weather.
