Me and my family are coming down for a game on 8/31 (first home game). Any suggestions on parking? Should we buy a parking pass prior or wait until we get down there?

Are you staying in Smyrna?

Ok, I was just gonna say walk or catch an Uber instead of parking if you were in Smyrna. Others here will have to help you with parking solutions

Definitely buy a pass. I dont think they allow you to pay at the lot anymore, so would need to purchase ahead of time. There are tons of lots around the stadium. If you're planning on staying the whole game I'd recommend one a bit farther out so that it's easy to get out. Overall it's much better than Turner Field. There are tons of arterial roads you can use, so getting in and out is a relative breeze

The last time I went to a game, you could buy a pass in the Red lot (in the Battery) for $50. And if you spent $50 in the stadium they would validate it....not sure if that is still the case

Luckily I have free Delta parking pass for my tickets Sunday

Just buy one on stubhub. That’s what I always do and usually not too expensive.

This is excellent advice. Some lots don’t open until 5:30 but some are 3:30. Find out that detail. If you stay at a farther lot, the walk may be a mile or so, but you zip right out once you get to your vehicle. Stay close to the stadium and exit with the crowd after the game, you’ll be sitting in the lot for maybe 30 mins.

I really wanted to tell him that parking in Cobb county is unpleasant, and to park in Cherokee, Bartow, or Paulding county instead. Fortunately there were more helpful people around.
