Logging in for the first time in several weeks tonight, I get a pop up ad each time I tap into the user name field. This is using desktop site on phone. I can't say it is definitely from this site, but it hasn't happened anywhere else.

What phone/browser are you using.

I'm using Note 8, Android, Google Chrome browser with Desktop and not getting any pop ups or ads.

LG potato phone, Brave browser.
I'll copy the link next time it comes up, it seems to pop up with every tap into the user name field.
Something like delopen or deloplen.com. It just redirected me to this link when I accidentally tapped outside of the "Quick Reply" text field while I was typing this message.

Yep. Logged out, closed tab, came back to site in new tab so it was mobile version. Went into Offseason thread, switched to desktop, tapped login field, pop up tab came up for the delopen or deloplen site briefly before redirecting to https://homepros.zone/service/windows/index.html?traffic_source=pro&campaign=2619959&keyword=215778037554229805&group=2169778

Then it happened again when I clicked on this thread, and again when I clicked in this text field to edit a mistake. Crazy.

I've come into the site with active protection on using both Norton and Malwarebytes. Both stop the redirect website from loading, but neither detect anything malicious on my phone. Apparently they both should if the deloplen adware is on my device.

I've been all over the site in mobile view this morning. The redirect hasn't happened once in mobile, but it's prolific when I switch back to desktop view.

Since Saturday each time I've attempted logging on with laptop using Firefox Google Chrome or Micosoft Bing a site called Search Dimension clogs up the works.
Android phone no problems.

I'm trying to find the source of it in the script.

I would bet in this being related: for the last few days, I've been barraged with warning that this site (and only this site) has an unsecure connection and does not supply ownership information. Something has screwed with your certs, and I'd wager it's the same thing causing the other probs.

This is a first. On my chrome browser it now says Not Secure next to the address bar. Hadn't previously said that.

But you might be correct in that my certs have been compromised... a few weeks ago before hte playoffs we had a massive surge of like 90+ russian troll accounts try to register on this site. Godaddy's security software is scanning and if I can't remove the issue manually I'll have to pay them to do it.

I'm no longer getting notifications of blocked pop-ups or redirects, and am no longer getting the naggiest notification of the cert problem, though the connection is still not secure. This is out of my wheelhouse, so take what I say next with a grain of salt: I'm guessing you were (quite understandably) not putting out the cash for the EV SLL cert, and it never nagged anyone about it because as a simple forum the site wasn't asking anyone's system for any information that would require an encryption. Then the redirects and pop-ups tried asking for things they shouldn't have been, leading to warnings, and now that they're gone we're back to normal.

I was still getting the pop ups a couple of days ago after clearing cookies and such. Today they are gone. Thanks Sav.
