I'm sure he was the only one helped by these policies.
You know the left is nervous when this is what they are trying.

what?
Are socialist dems gonna fight socialist Trump on his socialist EOs?
We shall see
Man, I love that he’s gonna have an executive order to protect pre existing conditions
Something that is actual law already under aca aka Obamacare
Plenty of blame to go around. It takes two to compromise and we have zero willing to compromise here.
Just because a side is willing to accept complete capitulation by the other side doesn't mean they're trying to do something. Compromise usually means no one wins and right now both sides refuse to accept not winning.
Again we see politicians play games with Americans. I urge people to reject the extemists that sound so exciting but who are utterly incapable of compromise.
trump and moscow mitch: "this is what we want"
democrats: "na, we want this"
trump and moscow mitch: walk away from the table and saying "they won't negotiate since they won't accept what we want"
Close Trump ally and convicted criminal Joe Arpaio loses primary for Sheriff even after outspending his opponet 15 to 1. This is now the third straight election he lost in 4 years.
Pelosi shouldn't agree to anything that doesn't include measures for funding and effectively running the USPS after the election and a minimum standard for polling places per population. They should be upfront about it and say if preventing problems with mail in voting and assuring people dont wait over an hour to vote are deal breakers for Trump then so be it.
I'm assuming you mean Schumer. And of course he's going to pin the blame on the Republicans. His primary goal is to score a victory over them.
If you listen to Trump's people they're explaining how the Dems aren't budging from their position on the big issues. Why do you believe Schumer over Mnuchin?
You shouldn't take anything these people say at face value. They're trying to spin a narrative to score political points.
Honestly, I don't think either side feels any urgency to do something. The Republicans aren't super high on doing a stimulus in the first place and the Dems feel there are still political points to extract from the situation by hitting Republicans on not wanting to help Americans.
Pressure isnt on the Democrats to do this. It's on Republicans. I dont agree that are playing games. They have zero reasons to compromise.
I don't think anyone feels pressure. I think the Dems might think the pressure is on the Republicans as the stimulus is popular but we have to remember the the Republicans haven't been high on a second stimulus since the start. The Senate has sat on the second bill since May.
While I think Republicans are playing ball some because it's an election year, I don't think they see a failure to pass a stimulus as a disaster.
Until both sides come to the table willing to pass a bill they aren't thrilled with, there won't be a deal.
When I say pressure is on Republicans I am talking about the upcoming elections. Pressure is on Republicans to get something done they can campaign on. Trump desperately needs something at this point. Even if they reached a deal Trump would take credit for anything good coming from it anyways. Democrats are generous in even giving him a chance to get that win.
I get why it might seem pressure should be on Republicans but I don't think they're really feeling it.
A large number of Republicans are going to vote against any second stimulus. So that group clearly isn't under pressure.
Even many of those Republicans supporting a stimulus are doing so reluctantly. They sat on the issue for 3 months before presenting a "skinny" stimulus.
The pressure might build as we get closer to the election (and the next funding deadline) but it's not enough to get a deal done at this point.
Everything the left touches dies.
