We have never lived in a time where so many opinions are accessible in so many mediums. I would argue that speech has never been “more free”
Getting fired for having unpopular political or religious opinions is not new.
The thought police will ensure only one opinion can be freely shared
By the way, when sturg was complaining about people not being allowed to assemble, zito wished death upon anyone who did.
No, because I consider assembling to protest systematic racism to be a little bit more important than protesting to get people to go back to work in the midst of a pandemic. Also we see a healthy majority of people at one protest wearing masks and the healthy majority of the others not wearing masks and screaming in the faces of others.
Ahh right
Georgia voting.
Closed over 200 polling stations. 80 in Atl metro area.
So yes, in boots on the ground life free speech , the back bone of free speech is under not attack but siege.
Yesterday it was not an abstraction
Sturg, Have you ever considered that there's a difference between private business and government. I bet you've never considered that. Also, complaining about speech issues outside of government means you aren't really for the constitution. I just made two really good original points the you've probably never heard. Give me thanks please.
wow, none of our Free Speech advocates have opinions on the Georgia mess that was yesterday.
Remember that slippery slope argument that you alp laughed at?
We are entering a dangerous time.
Does this make Trump the worst president ever when it comes to no free speech given his tendency to fire anyone who says something he doesn't like?
