expecting a yuge game from Ortega
Expecting Freddie to CRUSH Strasburg.
Great thread title. No way we don’t deliver the death blow now
Expecting a blow out loss tonight, followed by a dramatic win tomorrow, then a loss Saturday that probably should’ve won, and finally securing a split on Sunday.
Expecting a yuge game from Donaldson and Fried.
Exemplary lineup construction
Gnats have to win at least three this weekend. Anything less, even a split, is a win for Atlanta.
I should have evacuated Savannah just to get the free tickets to the game tonight.
Rendon really knocked the crap out of that one.
Paul Byrd is wound so tight another 1/8th turn and he pops.
Hope the Braves players are far more cool, calm and collected.
A and A, all the way!
A bloop and a beauty.
This is too much BABIP for one man to handle.
Acuna needs 4 HRs and 6 SBs with 22 games left
Bloops...
EL OH EL
Let’s gooooooooo!!!
Decent start
BABIP luck the Nats had against Mutts other night is coming back to bite them.
Of the four hits in this game, one was actually hit hard.
In addition to the two runs so far, looks like it will take more than 20 pitches for Strasburg to get through the inning. That's good too
What is the trendline on BABIP as the shift has become more prevelant?
Further, what do those numbers look like on players with different spray patterns?
not sure why rusty Mac is batting 5th rather than Joyce.
We really need Swanson to get back to what he was pee-injury.
Kiley:
At the Braves/Indians AAA playoff game in Gwinnett. Ian Anderson 93-95, CH has been 55 or 60 every time, K’d the side in the 1st. Logan Allen 93-95, got three groundouts to third in the first inning so things were pretty symmetrical. Also the Gwinnett OF is Waters, Pache, Riley.
I always enjoy listening to Tom Glavine pontificate on why umpires shouldn't consistently call strikes off the outside edge of the plate.
Fried can handle a bat, man.
FEAR THE FRIED
